Medical Care
Partner: Asociación Manos Amigas para Honduras (AMAH) · Cortés, Honduras
Hands of Mercy Ministries, Inc. is not a clinic or a hospital. We advance accessible health for people in poverty through donations of medical supplies and monetary gifts. The care itself is given at our field partner, Asociación Manos Amigas para Honduras (AMAH), a Honduran asociación with legal personality (Resolución No. 472-2023), next to Clínica Dental García, Colonia 25 de Mayo, Peña Blanca, Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Cortés, Honduras. AMAH is a separate organization from Hands of Mercy Ministries, Inc. (Georgia nonprofit, Control No. 26200324; principal office 270 Old Sudie Rd, Hiram, GA 30141).
What we need
- Monetary gifts for accessible health
- Donations of medical supplies
- Shipping and coordination so those gifts reach Peña Blanca

Support, not the center
Rehabilitation
Next to Iglesia Ríos de Agua Viva, Aldea Los Naranjos, Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Cortés, Honduras
Hands of Mercy Ministries, Inc. is not a rehabilitation center. We give support — adaptive equipment and monetary gifts — so people with disabilities can be helped next to Iglesia Ríos de Agua Viva, Aldea Los Naranjos, Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Cortés, Honduras. The therapy itself happens there. Our part is the support that helps it continue.
What we need
- Donations of adaptive equipment
- Monetary gifts for this support
- Shipping so the equipment reaches Los Naranjos

Children, youth, families
Education
Education opens doors that poverty tries to close. We send notebooks, books, and practical help so students can stay in class and families can see a future beyond the next harvest.
What we need
- School supplies and books
- Funds for educational support
- Monthly partners who help supply clothes, shoes, and transportation for children in poverty

United States
Logistics
Our volunteer team directs logistics from the United States: collecting clothing, keeping inventory, and sending what is gathered on to Honduras. The quiet work of boxes and lists is how mercy travels.
What we need
- Clean clothing in good condition
- Funds for shipping
- Volunteers to sort and pack

Field photographs from Lenca communities in Honduras. Some families still gather under the trees because they have no church building. Others wash clothes on a stone, use latrines that are failing, and live under ruined roofs without electric service. We are replacing latrines and repairing homes with block, mortar, and timber.
